Call for Applications: PEPNET Advisory Council (2026 to 2029)

The Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET) is pleased to invite applications from qualified and experienced professionals to serve on its Advisory Council for the 2026 to 2029 term.

The PEPNET Advisory Council is a distinguished body of professionals and leaders established to provide strategic guidance, strengthen institutional governance, foster partnerships, support resource mobilisation, and contribute to the long-term sustainability and impact of the organisation.

As PEPNET continues to expand its work in peace education, conflict transformation, youth development, leadership, and community resilience, the Advisory Council will play an important role in providing expert advice, promoting institutional excellence, and supporting the achievement of the organisation’s strategic priorities.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from individuals with a minimum of three years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Peacebuilding
  • Peace Education
  • Governance
  • Law
  • NGO Finance and Compliance
  • Strategic Communications
  • Resource Mobilisation
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning and Adaptation (MERLA)
  • Public Policy
  • Organisational Development
  • Academia
  • Development Practice
  • Other related disciplines

Applicants should demonstrate professional integrity, strategic thinking, leadership experience, and a commitment to advancing peace, sustainable development, and institutional growth.

Roles of the Advisory Council

Members of the Advisory Council will provide strategic support by:

  • Offering independent advice on organisational strategy and growth.
  • Strengthening governance and institutional accountability.
  • Supporting partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Guiding resource mobilisation and sustainability.
  • Contributing technical expertise within their areas of specialisation.
  • Serving as ambassadors for PEPNET and promoting its vision and mission.
