With a vision of building peaceful individuals and inclusive communities, PEPNET advances peace education, capacity building, advocacy, and innovative practice.

PEPNET’s Programmes and Platforms represent interconnected pathways within a growing peace education and social transformation ecosystem designed to strengthen peaceful coexistence, civic responsibility, ethical leadership, institutional learning, community resilience, and sustainable social change across schools, communities, institutions, governance spaces, and digital environments.
The Peace Education for Schools Platform advances practical peace learning within educational environments by equipping students, teachers, schools, and learning communities with the knowledge, values, competencies, and behavioural tools required for peaceful coexistence, civic responsibility, and social transformation.
PEPNET Peace Academy is the education, training, and professional development platform of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET). The Academy is designed to strengthen knowledge, skills, leadership, and practical capacities in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, governance, human security, sustainable development, and social change.
PEPNET’s Community Engagement Platform strengthens grassroots participation, dialogue culture, civic awareness, local peace actions, and community resilience through practical and people-centred engagement processes. The platform promotes peacebuilding as a collective social responsibility rooted in communities, relationships, participation, and shared values rather than as a purely institutional or elite process.
PEPNET’s Capacity Building Platform advances practical learning, institutional strengthening, facilitation development, leadership education, and applied peacebuilding competencies.
The platform focuses on translating peace education into practical implementation by strengthening the capacities of educators, facilitators, institutions, youth leaders, community actors, and development practitioners.
PEPNET’s Narrative and Media Platform uses storytelling, dialogue, media engagement, strategic communication, and public education to amplify constructive narratives, civic awareness, peacebuilding conversations, and responsible public discourse.
The platform recognises communication and media as critical tools for shaping public perception, influencing behaviour, strengthening social cohesion, and advancing preventive peacebuilding.
