Moses ABOLADE

Moses ABOLADE is a leading African peacebuilding practitioner, conflict transformation specialist, peace educator, and international development consultant committed to advancing peace infrastructure, peace education, and sustainable peacebuilding across Africa and beyond. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), where he provides strategic leadership to initiatives that strengthen social cohesion, democratic participation, youth leadership, and conflict transformation.

Since founding PEPNET in 2018, Moses has led the design and implementation of over 80 peacebuilding, education, governance, and community development programmes, directly impacting more than 7,000 beneficiaries and reaching over 1.5 million people through media, advocacy, training, and public engagement initiatives. He has also facilitated over 100 trainings, workshops, dialogues, and conferences for educators, youth leaders, civil society organisations, faith actors, government institutions, and development practitioners.

Beyond PEPNET, Moses serves as a Peacebuilding Consultant with Peace Catalyst International (PCI), USA, and the World Citizen Peace Ambassador Center, supporting programme development, partnership building, training, and peacebuilding initiatives across diverse contexts. His expertise spans peace education, conflict transformation, conflict sensitivity, stakeholder engagement, institutional strengthening, and systems-based approaches to sustainable peace.

He is the architect of several innovative initiatives, including the Peace Education Training Manual (PETMANUAL), Peace Education for Secondary Schools (PESS), Peace Zone Media Platform, and the Peace Education and Practice Conference (PEPCON), all designed to strengthen local capacities for peace and leadership.

Moses has received several national and international recognitions, including the Erdall Lowell Peace Ambassador Award, the Global Peace Leadership Award, and the Rick Love Young Innovators Award. He has also represented youth and civil society voices in engagements connected to the United Nations, African Union, Community of Democracies, and other international platforms.

His vision is to institutionalise peace education and strengthen peace infrastructure that empowers communities, transforms conflict, and promotes sustainable development across Africa and the world.
