PEMAT Leaders Fellowship Programme 2026

Commemorating the International Day of Peace 2026

The Peace Education and Management Training (PEMAT) Leaders Fellows Programme is a flagship leadership development initiative of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), designed to equip emerging peace leaders with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to advance peacebuilding, community leadership, and civic engagement.

As part of the 2026 International Day of Peace commemoration, PEPNET will host a two-day virtual training for selected PEMAT Leaders Fellows. The programme will prepare Fellows to serve as PEPNET Community Coordinators, State Coordinators, and Country Coordinators, supporting the organisation’s growing network and expanding its peacebuilding impact across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.

The training will feature interactive sessions on peace leadership, project coordination, peace education, community mobilisation, organisational development, communication, and volunteer management, empowering participants to lead transformative peace initiatives within their communities.
