ABOUT PEPNET
Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET) was founded on November 1, 2018, by Amb. Moses Abolade and a group of peace scholars at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, to promote peace education and equip individuals with conflict resolution skills. Since its inception, PEPNET has designed impactful programs for youth and vulnerable groups, gaining traction in the peacebuilding community. Officially registered in 2021 (CAC No. 156980), it has launched initiatives like the Peace Education Training Manual (PETMANUAL), the Peace Education for Secondary Schools (PESS) program, and the widely viewed Peace Zone on TV, establishing itself as a leader in peace advocacy and community development.
What We Do at PEPNET?
PEPNET advances societal peace through innovative education and leadership development, with particular emphasis on youth and marginalized populations. Our integrated approach encompasses peace education curricula (PETMANUAL, PESS), capacity building initiatives, and evidence-based policy advocacy. Through strategic platforms like Peace Zone TV and partnerships with governmental and international entities, we catalyze dialogue, enhance conflict resolution capabilities, and shape inclusive governance frameworks that foster sustainable peace and security.
